Orders placed now are for containerized trees. We take orders for our trees in advance and ship them out at the best time for Fall planting in each region from Aug-Dec taking the guesswork out of planting. See our Fall Shipping Date Map Below to see exactly when orders will ship to your state.

Get your order in now, we sell out early every season!

Shipments to Northern states like MI and WI will start to go out in Aug and we will work our way Southward as the weather warms. We'll finish up in the South in states like MS and FL in Nov-Dec. A notification will be sent via email prior to shipment with tracking info.

This map shows our ship dates color coded by state. We time shipments to arrive at the right time for planting in each region. You'll get an email confirmation when your order is shipped to give you advance notice before their arrival.

Fall 2026 Ship Dates

(Orders placed after 6/10/2026)

If you place your order after we have completed shipping to your region we will ship your order out within 5-10 business days.

Mycorrhizae is a beneficial soil fungus that grows on the roots of your trees and helps them take up water and nutrients more effectively. Similar to inoculating plants like beans and peas prior to planting. If you select this option we will include a packet of mycorrhizae granules with your trees. Just sprinkle in the hole prior to planting and you're good to go. We don't plant anything here at the farm without using it ourselves!

When you buy from us you can rest assured that you're going to end up with a healthy growing tree come spring. We guarantee that all our trees will emerge from dormancy so you don't have to worry about spending your money on something that may or may not bud out come spring. Just follow the recommendations in our planting instructions and your tree is covered.

You must protect your trees with one of our tree tubes for this guarantee to apply.

All the same traits that make our Hybrid Chestnuts great with one added bonus, a late season drop time. These trees have been selected to drop Nov-late Dec allowing you to offer your deer chestnuts well into the late season when all others have already been mopped up. Late in the year most acorns and other hard mast has already fallen and deer have fewer options which just compounds the drawing power of these trees. If you’ve seen the drawing power of other chestnuts, just wait till you see how attractive these late dropping trees can be.

Blight resistant, bears in just 2-5yrs, extremely palatable nuts, fast growing, and easy to grow. Add some to your order today and extend your chestnuts into the late season.

You must protect your trees with one of our Tree Tubes to be covered under our Survival Guarantee. Please read the full details here

Little tree work today on our chestnut trees from Whitetail Hill Chestnuts. We have several of these on our property and plan on adding more in September. I can’t wait until they start producing.

Got my “late drop” chestnuts planted, I was very happy with the way they were packaged roots were moist and the quality of the trees was good. Planted among some trees from last year in hopes of creating a stand of chestnuts in the middle of the farm.

My late-drop chestnuts are my only chestnuts to have survived planting. So far they seem to be surviving their first year well protected inside their tree tubes.

Late Drop Hybrid Chestnut

These trees are just booming they bedded quick and never slowed down they are growing extremely well

Late Drop Hybrid Chestnut

Already shared this before and received no response. Both trees were damaged. I paid for 3 to 5 ft trees however trees were broken in half, as well as the supporting bamboo rods. The plastic pots were split in two and half the soil was in the plastic bag. Trees were NOT in moist soil. I previously sent pictures of the damaged chestnut trees and received no response.
