We've invested in cutting edge storage and packing facilities, we inspect every batch of trees prior to shipment, and we partner with the right carriers to get your trees to you as quickly as possible. We do all this to ensure the viability of your trees, and we generally have very high survival rates (90%+) but at the end of the day we are still dealing in a living product and that means some trees will not make it.

That is simply the nature of planting anything. From years of growing trees we know that you can do everything right and still have a few trees that don't make it. That's why we guarantee our trees for a full year from delivery. If a tree planted with one of our Survival Kits dies within one year of the day it was delivered, we'll issue you a store credit for the amount you paid for that tree. We don't want our customers to spend their money on anything less than a healthy living tree.

Guarantee Conditions

All we ask is that you care for your trees properly and protect them to give them the best possible chance for success. For our guarantee to apply you must:

- Follow our planting instructions (these will be included in the box with your trees and can be found here), including keeping your trees watered through their first growing season

- Plant each tree with one of our Survival Kits (a Tree Pro tube and a slow-release fertilizer block) and keep the tube on the tree for its first year

- Make your claim within one year of the delivery date shown on your tracking. Email us good quality photos of the tree in its tube along with your order number

How we cover it

Store credit for the price you paid for the tree. Survival Kits and shipping are not credited, and each tree can be claimed once. Your credit can be used on anything in our store.

What's not covered

- Trees planted without a Survival Kit, or with the tube removed

- Trees planted outside their hardiness zones, trees that are shipped outside our regular shipping timeframes at the request of a customer, improper handling/planting practices, or physical destruction (ex. trees being hit by mowing equipment, destroyed by animals, etc.)

- Screening trees (Norway Spruce, Eastern Red Cedar, Hybrid Poplar and Hybrid Willow) are sold without Survival Kits and are not covered

- Trees that arrive in poor condition must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We'll take care of those separately from the guarantee.

This guarantee applies to all orders shipping Spring 2027 and later. Orders from earlier seasons are covered under the terms in place when they were placed: claims by June 30th following planting.
