Our soil test checks for all the nutrients your trees need and tells you if you need to add anything to get your soil in tip top shape for growing trees. We're one of the only providers of soil tests designed specifically to test for the nutrient trees need. We've crafted these tests to hit all the major needs of your trees that likely wouldn't show up on other tests and our amendment recommendations will be tailored to the needs of trees not just a generic report.
When you get your test in you can select what type of trees you're planting from the list (fruit or nut) and get specific recommendations for their needs. You can also use this test ahead of planting any of our food plot mixes, just choose that option from the list of crops grown on your report.

Just collect your sample, bag it up, fill out the requested info on the data sheet, and take it to your nearest post office to have it shipped to the lab.
Your soil will be tested for the following:
Organic matter, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, pH,
Buffer pH, Cation Exchange Capacity, Boron, and % Base Saturation
Recommendations for soil amendment application included with results.

By November most acorns have been mopped up and the woods go quiet. Late Drop Hybrids are selected to drop Nov–late Dec, right when deer have the fewest options. Our recommendation: a 1:1 mix.
Questions we get about Soil Test Kit
We don't ship on the day you order. We take orders in advance and ship at the proper time for spring planting in each region — from mid-December in the Deep South through the end of May up north. Pick your state below to see your exact window. Orders placed after your region has already shipped go out within 5–10 business days.

Every tree we ship is already inoculated with beneficial mycorrhizae, so there's nothing else to add — plant it in the kit, follow the Growing Guide, and it's covered by our 1-Year Survival Guarantee.
Plant with a Survival Kit and we guarantee the tree for a full year. If a tree dies within one year of the day it's delivered, we'll issue you store credit for what you paid for it. You don't have to worry about spending your money on something that may or may not make it.
