Shipments to Northern states like MI and WI will start to go out in Aug and we will work our way Southward as the weather warms. We'll finish up in the South in states like MS and FL in Nov-Dec. A notification will be sent via email prior to shipment with tracking info.

Mycorrhizae is a beneficial soil fungus that grows on the roots of your trees and helps them take up water and nutrients more effectively. Similar to inoculating plants like beans and peas prior to planting. If you select this option we will include a packet of mycorrhizae granules with your trees. Just sprinkle in the hole prior to planting and you're good to go. We don't plant anything here at the farm without using it ourselves!

We guarantee that all our trees will emerge from dormancy so you don't have to worry about spending your money on something that may or may not bud out come spring. Everyone knows persimmons are like candy to deer. Regular American persimmons make great early season food sources but if you want to draw in deer throughout the season you need to try these Late Drop American Persimmons. These persimmons are derived from carefully selected populations of native trees that consistently hold onto their fruit late into the year. Fruit ripens in early fall and drops slowly throughout fall and into winter, often holding as long as Dec or Jan. This slow drop time creates a habit for deer and it's not uncommon to see the same deer returning day after day to clean up any freshly fallen fruit. These trees are absolute magnets for deer in the late season.
Their ability to hold their fruit late into the season really takes the attraction level of these trees to the next level. When every other persimmon in the woods has long been dried up these trees will still be dropping right on into winter and pulling in deer from all around. The juicy orange fruits are loaded with sugars that provide the energy needed for deer during harsh conditions.
Persimmons are easy to grow and do well in many different soil types: well drained, wet soils, sandy, clay, marginal areas, etc. As a wild tree they are easy to grow and very disease and pest resistant.

My late drop persimmons were not available in the original size, and the company got me a discount on some younger ones. All of my late-drop persimmons are doing very well and growing safely inside their tree tubes.
I ordered 2 late drop persimmon seedlings and very happy with the outcome. One that is pictured has grown a good amount, and the other pictured hasn’t grown but has expanding buds now so all is well so far!
I got my trees in a timely manner. I planted them all the next day. I used the tubes n also the roots growing bag . One small tree I thought might not open up. But 2 weeks later after all the other trees had leaves on them. The runt tree became alive. I was very happy to have 100% success rate planting and receiving trees unharmed. I will be looking forward to their development over the next few years. Visions of wildlife eating the fruits. Few week after getting the 6 persimmon trees I ordered 2 pear trees. Couple weeks later they arrived I planted them the next day with the tubes n root grow. I have been amazed at the growth rate of the pear trees. They have grown 11 inches from when I planted them. I will definitely pick up 2 more in fall along with couple late drop chestnut trees. I have grown chestnuts trees from chestnuts I planted years ago. I ordered 6 late drop persimmons. I planted them the day I received them. I made my own grow tubes out of feed bags. They are all sprouting leaves. These pics were from a couple weeks ago. They all have more and larger leaves on them. Thank you.
I was surprised at how small they were for the price we paid. The size was very similar to what my neighbors got for a fraction of the cost from the local conservation district. What impressed me is that nine out of ten we planted are alive and doing well. I am sold on the micro-bacteria that you sold us to mix with the dirt when we planted.
I ordered 5 trees and got them in the ground within two days. One of them never leafed. Three seem to be doing well. One has leafed, but not nearly as well as the other three. I'd love a replacement for the one that didn't take.
Trees were exceptionally small, with most roots severed. Two of the 5 were skinny and have a strong curve shape. All five are currently alive and green.
Arrived with buds and are continuing to grow. So far so good. Your guarantee only gives 30 days when you ship at the end of May. We should get 90 days no matter when they ship.
Planting went well as expected. Trees were nice and healthy. Planted per your instructions. Very happy thus far, will have better idea of survival in the spring.

I ordered an assortment of of trees persimmon paw paw oaks chestnut out of all trees in order I only had one that did not bud out unfortunately that one tree died all of the rest seem to be thriving very well
Only 1 out of the 2 survived but when it was shipped to me the box look kind of beat up and it was upside down. I don't know if that had anything to do with
They were quite a bit smaller than the chestnut trees we purchased, but they all have leaves and seem to be growing well. I have tried persimmon trees from another company and maybe half are still growing, time will tell if these make it or not.
1st order I received a year ago, had one that did not make it. You provided a credit for the tree on my next order, that was good. Now I have one that did not make it on my next order, ordered 10 and a few did not leaf out at buds but sprouted up from bottom, and couple more will need some time to tell. Problem is, in order to get free shipping to get replacement trees that didn't make it, I have to order $199 or more. So far the chestnuts I bought are doing good. I've been planting chestnuts here in MI since 2016 and have done well with them. Persimmons, not so much. TY, Frank Perry, Laingsburg, MI.
Trees were planted the day after they arrived. They are in tree tubes and protected from critters, so now we wait.
Update 7/4/26
Went down to the property to replant the food plots that didn't take and checked on the trees. PSA: wasps really like building nests in the tree tubes. Two of the trees have leaves and look good, one did not sprout leaves, I can't definitively tell if the last has leaves or if a weed is in the tube, see PSA above, but it looks like a weed. So I'm at 50% survival and hoping they produce.
