ORDERS PLACED NOW ARE FOR SPRING 2024 AND ARE SHIPPED AT THE OPTIMUM TIME TO PLANT IN YOUR REGION FROM DEC-MAY

Shipments to the deep South will go out Dec-Feb and we will work our way northward as the ground thaws out. We'll finish up in far Northern states like WI and MN in late April to early May. A notification will be sent prior to shipment with tracking info.

For more exact timing based on your location please see our Shipping Date Map

All trees will be dormant so cold temps do not affect them. As long as your ground is thawed enough to dig, you're good to plant. Freezes after planting won't hurt them.

Trees are covered by our Survival Guarantee as long as you protect them with a tree tube and follow warranty conditions. See full warranty conditions here: Survival Guarantee

Mycorrhizae is a beneficial soil fungus that grows on the roots of your trees and helps them take up water and nutrients more effectively. Similar to inoculating plants like beans and peas prior to planting. If you select this option we will include a packet of mycorrhizae granules with your trees. Just sprinkle in the hole prior to planting and you're good to go. We don't plant anything here at the farm without using it ourselves!

When you buy from us you can rest assured that you're going to end up with a healthy growing tree come spring. We guarantee that all our trees will emerge from dormancy so you don't have to worry about spending your money on something that may or may not bud out come spring. Just follow the recommendations in our planting instructions and your tree is covered.

You must protect your trees with one of our tree tubes for this guarantee to apply.

Our Whitetail Hill Deer Pears™ are our favorite fruit tree for deer. They're a highly adaptable pear that's extremely easy to grow, heavy bearing, and absolutely irresistible to deer. Whitetail Hill Deer Pears are descendants of wild pears like the ones you often find growing on old homesteads throughout the country. The fact that they are able to do well in these conditions are a testament to their hardiness and survivability. Whitetail Hill Deer Pears bear heavy crops of large fruits prized by deer and other wildlife. These trees can survive on their own in the woods for decades with little or no care and still produce heavy crops of pears that become destinations for the local deer herd. You'll often see deer visiting them daily to clean up the latest fallen fruit. Bucks have even been known to protect pear trees while fruit is dropping. Pears really are a favorite for deer and they're about as easy to grow as you can get. They bear young, usually at just 3-6 yrs and grow very fast. Drop time varies slightly from tree to tree but typically falls from Aug-Nov. These are some of the very best pears you'll find for deer and are one of our favorites.

Testimonials

★★★★★

I have ordered and planted well over 100 trees online from various wildlife tree sellers, including the big name brands, and the trees I just received from Whitetail Hill Chestnuts are the best looking trees I have ever received... EVER!  They are easily 2 feet tall and full of big green leaves. They will make a great addition to my deer and turkey hunting property in Oklahoma and I'm sure I will be ordering more!

I ordered trees from Whitetail Hill they shipped my trees July 12 Priority Mail and were scheduled to arrive Thursday July 15th. When they didn't arrive on the 15th I checked the USPS tracking number that I was provided and USPS just kept telling me each day after that they were scheduled to arrive late. I emailed Whitetail Hill on July 19th and got a prompt response from Caleb H. My question to him was that if my trees did arrive what he thinks they would be alive he said there was a good chance that they wouldn't be and that he would do anything he could to help make the order right.

USPS finally delivered my trees on July 22nd. 7 days late on delivery with the box ripped in half. I open the package expecting to find my dead trees since they'd been in a box for 11 days to my surprise the trees were as green as ever. This just goes to show the quality of trees that these guys grow and send to us. I would highly recommend these guys and have already placed another order for more trees.
